my husband and I are about to get serious about buying a home. We have a realtor and finance company already and are going to set appointments with them within the next day. Our realtor ask that we shop around to see what kind of house we are looking for and to see more less what we want in a home. My husband and I went to some open houses and found a couple we both like and got many ideas of the area we want and what kind of home etc. However, when we went to one open house we were greeted with a very cold shoulder". We loved the house but the realtor was rude and labeled us as soon as we walked in the door/. She didnt want to help us and even told us she was "concerned with our "situation""?. She was a Keller Williams agent?. and she did not approach us with a smile nor open arms to any questions we wanted to ask;. It was a very horrid experience for my husband considering it was his first time meeting some realtors today,. Thank goodness our realtor is a friend and IS happy to help us with our needs!. This keller wiliams realtor did NOT want to give us information on the house nor about the area!. we are NOT happy with Keller Williams. 128bdd7

:( :( :( :( :( KW is a nightmare to deal with - buyer or seller. They have one agenda - THEIRS = and use deplorable methods of locking in people so that they OWN you in the end. DO NOT DEAL WITH KW. All that is said on this post by others about bad experiences is true.

Keller Williams is as horrible as these people say. No people skills, selling skills, buyers rep skills, etc....they do NOT care about anything but their own pocketbooks. However they are such bad business people that they don't even get that their pocketbooks ARE affectd by their bad behavior. Beware the KW real estate company and ALL their agents..stay away..simple as that. :(

If you already have a real estate agent, your agent should be the one driving you around to look at houses instead of wasting another agents time.

my husband was more upset that i had tripped walking into a room and the floor was unleveled due to remodeling the garage into a "den area", and the lady just made a rude comment and acted like she was better than us and didnt even ask if i was okay or help me up. i posted this some time ago and that house is still up for sale..gee wonder why. I had one bad experience with Keller Williams and I feel bad that now i dont want to deal with them, but it really was a horrid first time impression.

Wonder why your Realtor didn't have time to show you houses. If you told any agent holding an open house that you were represented by an agent who was not present, the open house agent should really not talk to you very much. That's actually very appropriate. Lots of lazy agents send their clients off to find a house on their own and then they show up with commission breath at the end

nikalseyn's comments sound like discrimination that can be the basis for a valid complaint that will cost an agent their license. If nikalseyn want's that much control over a buyer of house that will no longer be their own they should just try to sell themselves without expecting the Realtor to violate fair housing law.

The house was well in our price range and we were dressed for the occasion. But yet that's exactly how she treated us, as if we were to low class for her when we most def are not. My husband being a banker and I a nurse, I can assure you that we have clothes for the appropriate times.

You might wish to think real hard about why you were treated as you were and if you gave the wrong first impression. The way you dress and act as well as talk all say much about you. Perhaps the agent decided from your dress and manner that you were low class and could not afford the house she was showing, or even that you did not belong in the neighborhood of the home for sale. I know before I would consent to sell a home to a buyer, I would always insist on meeting them in order to decide myself if I really wanted to sell my home to these people. Often, I did just that and declined the offer.
