Keller Williams Realty in Chicago, Illinois - Keller Williams in Palatine, IL

Avoid Keller Williams in Palatine, Illinois. They have broler that think that they can easily rob you. At closing it came out that they took some additioanl money and when you did not agree with this they convice you that actually you did eventhougg it is not stated on contract. Their brokers forgot about many things and they make you look as a foul. They do not even bother to give the money back so I believe they do not care about their renown. I just want to make sure that other people would not be rip off from their money. And avoid as possible.

OH GOD your so not alone in not liking this company as I will not even let them call me on my listing! They are the most aggressive company I have EVER DEALT WITH and they think it is a good thing!

Good companies don't behave like trolls...case in point..KW!

I have never seen another real estate company act like Keller Williams...NEVER because they have respect and they sell like normal human beings who treat people with RESPECT.

Sorry you had to deal with this company..avoid them in the future and save yourself some misery.

I would file a complaint with the BB and the federal government as I do..the more complaints made the more they get in trouble..and get INVESTIGATED FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR.

BTW-JD POWERS is the one KW is using as a \"measure\" and for 2010 (2011 is not over) Century 21 and Caldwell beat them..hahahaha

HOW ABOUT SALES FIGURES???? No..that would be..wait for it...be based on SALES not JD Powers...\"satisfaction\" which if they had...

2018 and Keller Williams is STILL doing this! I put my condo up for sale FSBO on Zillow one week ago and I've had about 25+ Keller Williams agents trolling me.

Some are so obnoxious that I have to hang up on them because they won't take NO for an answer. I have extensive real estate experience, being an attorney that has done many hundreds of real estate closings, land contracts, lease agreements, etc. Additionally, I used to represent a real estate developer and obtained my RE license while working for him. I'm in a really hot area and selling a very moderately priced condo that will be in high demand.

I'm in no rush to sell and may just wait until springtime. These KW agents aren't contacting me with buyers - only agents doing that are from other companies. KW agents only want to take the easy way out and list. Google search online Keller Williams and FSBO - there are scripts for their agents on prospecting FSBO's.

One big thing they do is pretend to have a buyer and say they want to come by and see your place - "preview" it first. Once they are in your house they will try to convince you to list with them. Don't fall for it. I have friends who are RE agents in other states / farther away in my state and they tell me how dishonest the vast majority of RE agents are - cut throat and liars only out for themselves.

With every experience I have had with a RE agent on selling my parents multiple properties post death plus selling one of my own they tried ripping me / my family off. I caught them each time. One agent was a "friend of a friend" and she tried convincing me my property worth 15% less than what it was. When I told her if her estimate correct that I would sell by owner since I invested so much in the property I want to do better than break even.

She was furious - sent me a bunch of expletive laden, angry text messages. I could have reported her to the RE board and would have if we didn't know people in common. I put my property up FSBO and got CASH offers for 20% more than that lying wench claimed my property worth. Like any profession there are good and bad apples.

Commission based jobs bring out the worst in people - I've worked in them and seen it first hand.

Some people should not sell FSBO. But those that want to should not have to deal with being harassed by Keller Williams agents wasting their time and pretending to have buyers.

If you contact Keller Williams corporate offices in Texas, they will simply say it's a local matter and they will refuse to get involved, yet this company interferes with the operation of it's individual offices more than any other real estate company. Many of...

I have worked for many Real Estate companies and KW is the best. That being said they have a ton of agents and many will not stay with KW.

With well over 100K agent and so many brokers, you are going to get some bad apples.

Remember that every agent and broker is an independent business. It is a franchise with a strong culture however many people join KW and many will eventually leave who don't follow the standards of KW Culture.

The realtor did not show up at my closing, nor did she check and make sure the contract was followed. My money was incorrect and it created all kinds of problems. She blamed everyone involved, the other realtor, lender and title company. Of course, none of it was...

The communication is horrible. All he wants is your money and not serve you. Selling property is hard but no one should be forced to buy any thing. The way he is doing is really against the consumer ethic. A contract is terminated because it is terminated, end of...

My Husband and I worked with Roger 5 years ago to find our house. He was great to work with. I don't know what went wrong with the unhappy consumer -- but I can say from experience that working with Roger was a good experience for us.

Keller Williams Realty in Bellevue, Washington - Real Estate Mal Practice

I hired a Keller Williams Agent specializing in selling homes fast. This agent guaranteed he could sell my home saying" I sol my last home in 7 days. Keller Williams dumped our listing on MLS and allowed other realtors to trash our property, they drug dirt on our floors and broke bulbs in our bathrooms. we priced the home way below market. needless to say we did not sell the home and subsequently lost it to foreclosaure, We logded a complaint with the better business buerau, Keller Williams did not even bother to reply. My advice to you, do not use Keller Williams to sell your house, they are lousy liars, and you will end up with hundreds of dollars in repairs.

Yeah..maybe not all KW agents are lousy..but a huge percentage are..

ad per real estate agents in general..they all lie in some area..in our experience.

Homeowners who use a good real estate agent know the difference and the difference starts with the corporate culture...

That is one great benefit of selling your home yourself..you control who goes through and this minimizes property destruction and theft.

Only a really good agent cares about those issues...like mud across carpet and broken (whoops) which you are liable for.

Please do not group all real estate reps under the same roof. There are bad apples everywhere. I'm sorry to hear that you were not represented the way you should have.

When the KW agent cost me $165K, give KW another chance? Do I have lolipop written all over me? not on your best day.

wow that is harsh. KW has 77,000 agents and it sounds like you got the worst one.

i would advise calling that agents broker. i know in my office and all the offices i deal with something like that would not happen unanswered.

i have been an agent for 10 years, 3 with kw and i can confidently say that the agents in our office are the most ethical and well trained in our market.

give another KW agent a chance they will make up for your bad experience.

"It is the AGENT not the company"

Ummm..NO it is both.

Ever heard of CORPORATE CULTURE?

HELLO?????

Sometimes a good agent is stuck inside of bad corporate culture which dictates behavior often.

I'm almost 60 and will be homeless soon. KELLER WILLIAMS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.
